Protective lens damaged: There is a protective lens installed on the camera in order to keep the lens clean and clear. If the covering of the lens is damaged, you can refer to the guidelines mentioned to replace the protective lens.
The case is cracked: If you find the case of your camera is broken or loose, then remove the batteries from the cover and insert a new case on the camera.
The camera lens is broken: After installing the camera in the right direction, if the picture is still blurry or not clear, then check the camera lens. It might be broken due to some accident. Refer to the instructions mentioned online to replace the broken lens.
Motion sensor doesn’t activate: If you find the motion sensor doesn’t activate even after the motion gets reported, then check the following:
- The lens of the camera is covered with some object or hindrances. Clear the line of sight from the camera lens or move the camera in a different direction.
- The motion sensor if placed in a low traffic area will result in inactivation. Change the direction or placement of your motion sensor and try to turn it on again. See if it is working or not.
Motion sensor not working: After implementing the above-mentioned troubleshooting steps, if the motion sensor is still not working, then replace it on your own or go to a nearby store for a replacement.
